Breaking in Doc Martens!

Aaaah, today I finally got some vegan Doc Martens (thanks DH) but they're agony... Any tips?! They might have to go back otherwise! I've only worn them indoors for 30 mins!

It's taken a year and lots of plasters to break in the DM's I bought for work!! And even then, they aren't quite there! I have a pair of mid calf boots that were quicker but I wear them more.

Original black DMs hammered the back and ran them over with the car. Seemed to work OK. Walked 11miles, no probs

I'm starting to wonder WTF I was taken for, when I was told you piss in new Docs and wear them with big socks while they're wet.......

For what it's worth, it didn't work.

I wonder if soaking them inside with watered down fabric softener would have worked, then wearing them wet with big socks on.

Stupid arse of a woman who told me to do that. Bet she laughed her fucking head off at me.
