Can we have a midi/maxi hall of fame thread please?

I keep seeing everyone wafting about it gorgeous midi or maxi dresses and although I have two I’d love to add to the collection... but I have no time to shop!

Going to hit a Westfield in a week but will only have a few hours... all and any mentions of a maxi or midi you’re loving will be very welcome. I am very tall so lengthy ones appreciated.

Red floral midi especially on my hit list.

Expensive, cheap, hit me with them all. Also what you’re wearing them with, esp if it’s a neat fitted denim jacket!

I've just bought this floral midi from Oliver Bonas and it's lovely - I'm also tall and not a fan of my legs, so find most "midis" too short and don't care for full-length maxi for daytime. This one is a good length.

Should have added: def wearing with denim (+ sandals/ trainers depending on weather). Got my Oliver Bonas one after seeing a woman wearing it at a party, and despite her being several inches shorter/ a good couple of stone lighter than me, it suits both of us.

If you're an Arket fan already, have you tried their halter neck? Have a yellow floral version from last year and it's ace. Only word of warning is that it's a bra-free zone so not for everyone.

Ooh, love the Oliver Bonas one, but do you find it shortwaisted? Short/high waists bane of my life, make everything look badly fitted on me.

Love the arket one too but sadly very much in need of bra.

I have that problem too (wearing a Zara midi from last year today and the waist tie is annoying me so much I'm going to have to move the belt loops!) but with the drawstring styles I tend to leave the waist loose so it doesn't really bother me.
