They remind me of the ones that come in extra super wide for people with swollen feet, I think it's the punched leather

tierraJ · 27/07/2019 13:36

I don't think they look good, there are other Nikes that look much better

fancynancyclancy · 27/07/2019 13:42

Yes & I normally a fan of Nike’s

sallyscallop · 27/07/2019 13:45

I've got those (different colour) They don't look anything like that on 👍🏻 I love mine

HundredMilesAnHour · 27/07/2019 14:35

They're dreadful, sorry OP.

EarlyIntheMorning · 27/07/2019 14:49

Is it the colourway you think, or everything about them?

OP posts:
fancynancyclancy · 27/07/2019 14:53

colour doesn’t help

Jaffacakebeast · 27/07/2019 15:01

Yep, they’re rank

HundredMilesAnHour · 27/07/2019 15:38

The colour is particularly rancid but the style is also dire. I'm shocked at Nike releasing something so "old lady on a cruise thinking she's down with the kids".

Soola · 27/07/2019 15:52

Hideous.

Xiaoxiong · 27/07/2019 16:20

goose I agree, they remind me of the dr scholls loafers with the punched leather you see on sale in chemists in Europe sometimes.

Or these: www.hotter.com/gb/en/tone-shoes-tonewsuksl?fit=Extra+Extra+Wide+Fit&colour=Aqua%20Punch

What do you think of these?

Yes.

The style of chunky trainers in fashion are fila disruptors or balenciagas etc, which don’t have such a large sole. It’s both the thick/plain sole and the colour that makes both pairs of trainers posted look orthopaedic.

Alexander McQueen trainers have a chunky sole but the shoe has a sleek aesthetic which prevents that orthopaedic vibe.

Why are you into these trainers? Eg do they have a slight platform?

handslikecowstits · 27/07/2019 17:26

I think it's 'hearing aid' colour, OP. They'd look better in a different one IMO.

EarlyIntheMorning · 27/07/2019 17:30

The Air Force ones don't look good on me somehow and I don't find the chunky flatform as comfortable

Yes. My MIL would love them.

I don’t like the Reebok toe

sallyscallop · 27/07/2019 18:46

Gosh, I'm scared to wear mine now!! Mine are perfect for the job (gym) as they have great arch supports for when I'm running.

TantricTwist · 27/07/2019 23:14

They look like they're more geared towards work foot wear such as Sketchers. Comfy and practical when you're on your feet all day

BlueMoonAndRedNose · 29/07/2019 13:30

I like them both! Blush

gingersausage · 29/07/2019 15:01

Is this a sponsored post? The title is strangely specific 🤷‍♀️

FoggyNelson · 29/07/2019 19:07

Have you considered the Air Max Theas? I feel like they have the sleekest look about them out of all the Air Maxes, and they're fairly comfortable.
