Anyone seen any fab turquoise shoes in the shops lately? Or what other colour would go with a turquoise dress?

Aitch · 31/07/2007 11:48

pink and turquoise is great. or orange... loads of things.

JackieNo · 31/07/2007 11:49

Brown can go well with turquoise. But more fun to have colour, if you can find it.

scattyspice · 31/07/2007 11:50

I'd say silver or beige.

i wore tomatoey orangey red wedges with a small ankle strap with a green/white dress at a wedding, I think the contrast was terrific so wouldn't get too worried about "matching" up

Biglips · 31/07/2007 12:12

ive seen them everywhere in town yesterday..... it was in Peacocks

Aitch · 31/07/2007 12:19

silver shoes would be great with turquoise, you know. i was at a wedding the other day with a black and white dress with a pink sash and green shoes and pink and green bag and jewellery. i thought i looked rather marvy.

a jewel green also good... basically you can wear whatever you want in summertime. personally i think that people can look too matchy-matchy at events, you want to live a little!

Aitch · 31/07/2007 16:36

do you want high or low btw? m&s has a nice pair of pink ballet slippers with a buckle which would be good for all day. or go for wedges as they're comfy but have height.

It's quite fun and daring wearing a colour that you wouldn't normally.... It can be v invigorating - practise wearing it beforehand! And think of all the admiring glances you will get!
