50 year old wedding guest- what shall I wear?

I'm going to a wedding in Sep and haven't got a clue what to wear! It's been 15 years since I was last at one!
What do people wear? I really have no idea! I am 50, 5'6", size 10, pale skinned. I am fairly 'alternative' and don't really wear pastels. Can anyone start me off with some ideas please? Budget of £100.

Just buy something that you really like but couldn’t normally justify.then you will wear it loads instead of having a ghastly worn once outfit. taking up space in your wardrobe.
