What to wear for summer funeral / post-baby bid

I am going to a funeral next week and not sure what to wear. It’s not long since I had a baby and I don’t quite feel up to wearing a fitted / tailored dress or tailored trousers. I don’t feel comfortable in most of my clothes other than my jeans and t shirts.

I have this dress, which I wore to another funeral this year but it was much cooler and I wore it with black tights, boots and jacket.

I’d consider buying something new but for the moment I’m wondering how to make this dress work for a hot day as I like the dress. I feel it might be too hot for tights but not sure bare legs are appropriate. Not sure I have a jacket that fits or what I’d buy to go with it which I’d probably only wear once. Not sure a cardigan would work? Maybe a shawl / scarf? Again don’t want to have nothing with it. For shoes, maybe black heels as I don’t feel as smart in flat pumps but I’d prefer flats as I don’t know how long I’ll be standing and I’m not used to heels at all at the moment. Expect to be in the car for about 7 hours overall but I’m not driving. Any advice welcome! Thanks.

Now thinking this dress, a scarf, tights and black heels. I might take some flats just in case or even something comfy to change into for the way home.
