Struggling to find a wedding dress

Hi,
Can anyone help me find the right wedding dress? I am struggling so far. I like simple styles, and would love sleeves or some sort of detail around the top - definitely not strapless. Would like full length, but would prefer one without a train.
Have discovered after trying many wedding dresses on that I really don't feel comfortable in the typical "bridal" dresses - many of them feel quite heavy and bulky, and I really want to be able to dance freely at my wedding, go to the toilet without assistance and generally feel comfortable!
We are having a Spring wedding, and rather than a veil or tiara I'm planning on having flowers in my hair.
I'm 5"4 and a size 10, my problem area is my big stomach area which I'd like to hide.
I hope I've included everything relevant - thanks in advance!

Have you looked at Pronovias? This is just one example

Phase eight have some nice simpler styles. Also tend to be around £500 so cheaper than a bridal shop. What’s your budget?

AutumnIvy · 20/07/2019 13:25

Budget up to around £800 but the cheaper the better! Will check out Phase Eight too, thank you - I like all of the examples given

I second Phase Eight, @AutumnIvy - my wedding dress was from there and it was reasonably priced, well-made, comfortable and looked great in photos. I've just had a nosey on the site and there are some beautiful new wedding dresses on there that definitely meet your criteria.

There are a lot of boutiques which sell 'destination' wedding dresses.
They are quite light weight.

Poppins2016 · 20/07/2019 13:50

Monsoon sell great wedding dresses, too. Smile

I've just bought this for my wedding after a LOT of searching 😊

I love the Ghost dress!

Ninkaninus · 20/07/2019 13:57

Monsoon have lovely wedding dresses for reasonable prices, usually quite flowy styles too, not too heavy.

AutumnIvy · 20/07/2019 14:00

That's good to hear, @Redpandafluff - will definitely have a good look through what Phase Eight has to offer!
@AubreyBeardsley your dress is beautiful!

Lots of great suggestions here, thanks all

I love the ghost dress, but you couldn’t wear it with a big tummy.

AutumnIvy · 20/07/2019 15:40

@Ohyesiam agreed about the big tummy - satin would cling to it. Have just been looking up white bridesmaids dresses and am having some success - lots of beautiful designs, many look just like bridal dresses but are lighter weight and cheaper too!
