Got a sandals in the sale challenge if anyone is up to it?

My tastes are expensive but my budget is distinctly lemonade.
My current sandals are beyond help, tatty and in the last week have got too whiffy and won't go despite me cleaning them...
I am after leather and would prefer a low wedge style. Colour is negotiable but something fairly neutral to go with every single outfit I have! - so tan, khaki, navy are all good...
My perfect sandal is probably a cross between these 2 timberland ones - but even at £50 I'm struggling a bit to spend that and was hoping for more like £30 max.

The first is a tad too high and the second a bit too flat - my current ones are a wedge between both of these and seem to be the right combination of comfort and shapeliness.
Can anyone help? Thankyou x

MJUS from LaRedoute? www.laredoute.co.uk/psrch/psrch.aspx?kwrd=Mjus%20sandals&virtualsite=100#headerSearchContainer&srt=noSorting

The black wedge ones come in tan and olive too ( with gold ankle straps). They keep coming in and then out of being in stock and in various sizes so you have to keep checking.
There are extra codes to take more money off. You should be able to get them nearer your budget,

Bother the sale thing has finished. Sorry...I am just offering you more exorbitantly priced sandals.

Moshulu have some cork soled shoes in their sale, which might work?

These are more wedgy, but I'm not sure the colours are right: £45

These are flatter, available in tan, navy and other colours: £39

Office have birkenstocks on sale from 60 to 45 just now, still a bit pricey though.

drowningincustard · 19/07/2019 07:55

Thankyou all
The moshulu wedges are exactly what I would like - but as you say the colours are not great - best is possibly black but I don't really wear black clothes, at that price I'd be better off paying £5 more and getting the khaki timberlands even though they are flatter but they would match more of my clothes because they are quite neutral.
The mjus are nice but because of the price I haven't looked in much detail!
Best are the clarks for height, colour and price - the only thing holding me back is the white sole - previous experience says they will look tatty even after cleaning and I am always on muddy lawns and fields with the kids.
Will think on today (and its rainy so I can wear my trainers!) rather than make a rash online purchase during breakfast!!! ;-)

Look on amazon for birkenstock. Some sizes are £35.

hugoagogo · 19/07/2019 08:13

What size do you need? Maybe kids ranges could be a option?

drowningincustard · 19/07/2019 11:12

I'm a 6, sometimes 6.5 if they are a small fit. So too big for kids shoes!!!
Thinking that I might have to just swap to trainers for a while and then if things are a bit flusher in a few weeks I can hopefully buy something! x

After a lot of soul searching decided to buy the Timberlands. It worked out as I could pay by paypal and I had a bit of money in there from selling stuff on ebay so I have justified the extra cost to myself!!!

That's good news, I think if you'd bought some cheaper ones you might have regretted it.
You are worth the extra cash I am sure. Grin
