Anyone fancy helping me find a wedding guest dress in the sales?

I've got a couple of weddings to go to this year...one trendy and informal...the other a bit more dressy and abroad (although in an air-conditioned hotel rather than a beach).
I'm skint, and never wear dressy dresses in my normal life, so don't want to spend a lot, will probably stick the dress on ebay when I'm done, but still, don't want to spend big bucks.

I am size 10, 5ft 6, suit most colours, obviously don't want to do black or white/cream.
I'm quite curvy, with big boobs, don't like to wear body-con type dresses as I like to eat, drink and be merry at a wedding and would feel too self-conscious in a tight fitting dress, but fitting at the waist is good with my shape. Like a wrap dress type thing.
I don't do heels, but could do a low block heel, and I like to cover my upper arms also need to be able to wear my sturdy bra so I can go crazy on the dance floor without giving myself two black eyes.
Does such a dress exist? Would prefer to look trendy/cool rather than sexy...I like Rixo dresses, but haven't the budget, and think maybe the copies look cheap and not wedding guest suitable for the 2nd (more formal) wedding?
I've looked online and getting nowhere...I need help!

Where have you already looked? Wallis have some quite nice dresses in their occasion wear section and you could also consider a jumpsuit, you say you don’t wear dresses (me neither) and probably won’t wear it again so you could look on eBay too, you might find something ideal at a good price. Loads of sales on at the moment. Debenhams website has a dedicated wedding guest section.

Try Silk Fred, my friend has some absolutely beautiful dresses from there. She said they weren’t that expensive.

ASOS < Bargain in the sale, flowy wrap style so would be cool abroad. FCUK usually resells well on Ebay.

How about a kimono dress like this Silkfred

I bought this in the sale and it’s much much nicer on! Nips nicely at the waist and drapes nicely

I've tried Karen Millen, Reiss, Sandro, Maje, John Lewis, Mint Velvet etc....nothing has grabbed me.
I like the SilkFred suggestion the best so far, I didn't realise they are a proper company (too many ads on my side bar!)
I would love to wear a jumpsuit, but I know as soon as I've had a glass or two of champagne I'll never work out how to re-dress after stripping off for the loo Grin
