Are they any good? Was wondering if they did a miracle moisturiser for skin that's started to get a bit dry (due to my advancing years, I expect! .

I used the Collagen Mask I think it's called and didn't really find it did anything, thought it was just me so I gave it to my Mum who found exactly the same.

Haven't used their moisturisers but was talking to someone who did who felt that they weren't really doing what she had hoped for and she found her skin was still very dry, but I think hers is exceptionally dry. She had been using them for years but felt the prices are now too steep.

I think you are paying a lot for the shops being in London and aimed at a specific market. My skin has got drier and I find that I get on better with good quality organic cold pressed oils, things like Rosehip, Jojoba & Macademia, mixed together. Applied to slightly damp skin they absorb in really well, obviously take a little longer than a cream .

Thanks, Choc. Will probably stick with my lovely Decleor! Was just thinking about organic alternatives but not sure what to try.

I got an organic pharmacy face serum (rosehip I think). It was ok but quite pricey and it smelled truly foul! I ended up using it on my hips in the hope that it might prevent stretchmarks because I couldn't bear putting it anywhere near my nose!

I recommend Dr Hauschka's Rose Cream if you're after something good and natural. I swear by it and quite a few (youthful looking!) ladies in my family do too.

I agree facial oils are a good thing too.

I've used green people products and have been pleased with what I have tried (cleanser, toner and suncream). www.greenpeople.co.uk/. Have not used a moisturiser though but they sell small samples of most of their products so you can try first. They are doing free postage on August orders atm too! HTH
