Can you look glam on holiday??

I think it's impossible to look glam on holiday. I'm just back from one and everyone in the airport looked knackered and scruffy!!

My main issues are:
Hair - never looks good due to pool / humidity / shite hotel hairdryer
Skin - shiny due to factor 50 plus no point in putting make up on top of it; also see above re pool!
Clothes - I see myself wafting in sundresses but I'm too fat and just look all wobbly, hot and bothered. I brought too much away with me and then didn't get dressed up anyway.

Also I'm blue-white and burn very easily so I get stressed about applying suncream to the edges of what I'm wearing so I don't end up burnt round the edges. Maybe I should get a spray tan!!

If anyone does look glam on holiday come and share your tips!!

I find it hard to stay looking presentable in hot weather..
Summer holiday for us is North Devon, lots of surfing, body boarding and walking so impossible to look great. I let my hair dry naturally so it has a bit of a wave then shove it up in a messy bun. I don't wear any make up on holiday other than eyebrow pencil and mascara and use a tinted lip balm.
I find Devon gives me a nice look though -my skin goes a golden colour and my hair highlights naturally in the sun so I always feel as though I look quite radiant and healthy.

I don't look glam for most of my holiday as it's mostly spent walking in the mountains and drinking my father in law's wine reserves. But when we go down to the lake or into town, I've learnt to dress French. Simple dress over bikini ( if swimming). Panama hat, tan sandals ( although I have silver this year which is a bit radical), le Pliage bag. I get a gel manicure/ pedicure and am comprehensively waxed before I go. I'm never going to get on some Instagram style page. But sometimes I get spoken to in French and know I've arrived.
