Comfortable leather sandals up to £80

Can anyone help me find a pair of wonderfully comfortable yet stylish in a modern way sandals that are leather?

I’ve been living in havianas but they aren’t suitable for work and I’ve had the odd pair of espadrilles but nothing that I can walk much in.

I’m a shorty so wouldn’t mind a small flatform style or slight wedge.

I really loved a pair that Vagabond did a few years ago but they no longer do them. DocMartens do something similar but they are far too expensive and a little bit too gladiator

Fitflop have got some great ones at the moment. Very good sale on just now, too.

Marks had some great ones but they’re sold out.

I've seen a lady on Instagram swear by saltwater sandals. But never been able to afford them myself

Ninkaninus · 14/07/2019 22:00

I mean the specific ones I wanted are sold out, there may be others that would suit you and which you would like. Generally their shoes are very comfortable.

Saltwater sandals are just £40 from Toast at the moment. Only limited colours though.

these look nice and are reduced from £78 to £55 in dark brown.

I love my saltwaters. Have had them years and they still look good.

SippingSipsmith · 15/07/2019 05:27

Salt waters like others have said. I bought a couple of pairs recently for a holiday with a lot of walking and was really impressed and walked around in them all day brand new (20k steps) and not one blister or rub and they look new still. Great product.

I bought these last spring, lived in the m all summer, and they're still good and comfortable this year. They go with everything. www.dunelondon.com/lavell-cross-strap-flat-sandal-0079509920018511/

Have a look at Pikolinos sandals - various styles and comfortable- leather lined and leather insoles too

HeyMicky · 15/07/2019 08:20

I have the dune lavell as well. Really comfy and very flattering on my quite broad feet

BlythesEyes · 15/07/2019 09:18

Try Camper...they have a 50% off sale if you sign up, year guarantee and are amazingly different. Or I have just bought these in the sale.

@bebeboef - I’m quite short and found the salt waters didn’t look great on me. Also - and this depends what you need/your feet are like- they are really flat.

@PetaO - can I ask do the dune run big or small? Am a half size and trying to decide whether to go up or down! Sorry for hijacking the thread OP

Loyaultemelie · 15/07/2019 12:19

I bought my first pair of saltwaters and love them. So comfortable and I have one foot swollen because of complications with a broken knee and once I got them wet they fitted to my shape perfectly

Ninkaninus · 15/07/2019 13:19

@BigmouseLittlehouse

I have wide feet so I often wear 7 even though I should really be a 6.5.

I take a 7 in Dune shoes and they are perfect. I also take a 7 in Kurt Geiger if that helps for comparison.

lekkerkroketje · 15/07/2019 13:22

I've had these from Timberland two years in a row. And they're on sale!

Ninkaninus · 15/07/2019 13:25

Ohhhh @lekkerkroketje I like those. And Timberland is one of my favourite brands for footwear...I’ve never even looked at their sandals! Sigh I can’t spend any more this month, though. Next time!

BigmouseLittlehouse · 15/07/2019 13:59

Thanks @ninkaninus
