What's your favourite foundation

I've been using by terry sheer tint (I think) and Nars. Quite like both but wondering if there's something better. I like a sheer cover, natural and not too thick or drying. Hit me with your recommendations. Thanks.

Clinique beyond perfecting. Makes my skin look flawless

ViciousTrollop · 14/07/2019 08:36

L'Oreal Pro Glow.

It's my holy grail. Light, dewy coverage but makes your skin looks like you've got a blurring filter applied. It's gorgeous.

And cheap as well.

LightOfAThousandStars · 14/07/2019 08:47

Lancome Idole foundation

youvegottobekidding · 14/07/2019 14:26

Vicious, can I ask where do you buy the L’Oréal Pro Glow? Can you get it in Boots/Superdrug? I’ve not seen it before, I usually use L’Oréal Infallible Total Cover, but having nearly finished my tube was on the look out to try something new!

Laura Mercia - you'll never go back

Oh I came on to post this too - I use double wear which is brilliant but I wanted lighter coverage

converseandjeans · 14/07/2019 16:21

Lancôme Teint Idole

Daffodil2018 · 14/07/2019 16:51

Armani.

stoplickingthetelly · 14/07/2019 21:46

Nars sheer glow is my favourite, but I imagine that’s what you’ve already got.

Daria32 · 14/07/2019 22:22

YSL touche eclat foundation- amazing if you like a more dewy/ less matt look!

allfurcoatnoknickers · 15/07/2019 03:53

Becca Aqualuminous. Very sheer, but buildable.

Winterlife · 15/07/2019 04:51

Tom Ford foundation stick.

I’ve heard great things about Armani.

Tomasinaa · 15/07/2019 04:54

Double Wear but the Water Fresh Nude versión or whatever it's called. Doesn't have quite the same staying power but it's good coverage and lovely and dewy.

Beautifullymixed · 15/07/2019 06:28

Youvegottobekidding, you can purchase the L'oreal pro glo foundation from amazon, as it's a USA range.
I love it, as it's skin like, blends beautifully and is very flattering to the skin. It covers redness surprisingly well, and is easily built up in any areas you want extra coverage.
I do set it with powder though, and it lasts all day.
A great foundation to try.

Satsuma1234 · 15/07/2019 07:01

Charlotte Tilbury. The lighter version of the 2.

Beautifullymixed · 15/07/2019 07:11

I also like maybelline fit me dewy and smooth, very similar to the L'oreal pro glo.
No7 hydraluminous is another fab foundation. It applies like a dream, even if my rosacea has flared up, and skin is flaky and dry. It looks so natural, and wears amazingly well during the day. No dry areas, no pooling in pores and doesn't get too shiny (although I set with powder).
It also covers really well, and builds up without getting cakey.
A fabulous buy, especially if you get it with the many offers boots run (and extra on your advantage card too).

blueberry2310 · 15/07/2019 12:10

Thanks for all these great recommendations. Will have a look when I'm out. Love the sound of the No. 7 one but I'm not in the UK so can't buy boots' products.

I love Bare Minerals Bare Skin. Dewy and light, but has good coverage. I use a small amount all over and then just tap extra over any red areas.

Sunshinegirlgogogo · 20/07/2019 23:24

True Match, l Oreal.....or MAC waterweight (pricier).
