Where can I find smart/smart casual trousers with some elasticity in the waist?

I’m desperate to find some nice trousers for work but I can’t wear jeggings/leggings and linen trousers always end up looking like a bag of rags on me 😥. I need either black or navy and preferably with some stretch or elastic in the waist or all over but I really don’t want old lady style. Can’t bear the cheap material that goes shiny either 😬 I’m happy to pay a bit more for them if I could only find something that will suit. I’m a size 14-16 and I’m looking for both summer and winter trousers. If you own anything that fulfills all these criteria, where oh where did you purchase them from?

I couldn’t get the link to work but I’ve been onto the website and located them. They are just the kind of thing I am looking for. Thank you. Now just need to work out which size to go for 😊

I was going t suggest exactly the same ones. I have several pairs in a variety of fabrics and colours. Best trousers ever for work.

COS do this sort of thing quite well.

Was also going to suggest the uniqlo trousers. Dd has been wearing them for school and constantly raves about how comfortable they are.

I've also got the Uniqlo ones. I'm usually a 12 and got a medium, they're ok but if I was buying again I'd probably size up.

The automatic linking via MN is screwing up all links with the word in the address. So the link needs to be edited in your browser to delete all the stupid redirection gumpf.

Not their finest idea, but it probably sounded a great one at the time for harvesting extra clickthroughs.

I got mine in Bon marche. So uncool but lovely fabric, wash well and I think around £25? I love them! Tailored front and elastic area back and a range of muted colours in their "workwear" I sing their praises and everyone laughs at me ha ha! I don't even care.

Wallis have got some great pull on black trousers in at the moment with small panels of elastic at the back. They are all about £24-£30.
