Recommendations for kids socks (bamboo or other synthetic, wicking fabric – no cotton)?

We’re in the market for some thin, lightweight kids socks made of bamboo or other, synthetic, wicking fabric, to be worn in the summer. No cotton – cotton sucks because it doesn’t wick sweat away, so the feet and the shoes get absolutely damp. Merino is expensive and the kid doesn’t like it.

Do you have any suggestions?

Ecco sells some www.eccoshoesuk.com/ecco-bamboo-kids-socks/p6338 but they are quite expensive and not as colourful as others. Has anyone tried them? Would you recommend them?

We have found a couple on the Decathlon website, but they’re currently out of stock

Joules sells bamboo socks www.joules.com/Girls-Clothing/Socks-Tights?mmid=Girls--AccessoriesAndFootwear--SocksAndTights ; we have tried them - they’re quite cute, but they’re quite thick – it seems they’d be great in the winter but not so much in the summer.

Bamboo clothing bambooclothing.co.uk/ doesn’t sell kids’ stuff – and their adult socks are quite thick, too.

Patra.com doesn’t do kids socks; the silk adult socks are very thin but are the least durable we have ever come across (they disintegrate after a few washes, even if washed with delicates).

We have browsed at Uniqlo, M&S and Primark, but all their socks are either 100% cotton or cotton rich (> 60%).

Thanks!
