Any idea how I can find a new cap for drying my DGm's hair? Or a suitable alternatibe

We roller set my DGrandma's hair and have always used the cap in the pictures for when she's under the dryer.

It's about 40 years old, and although I've re-elasticated it once, I think it will give up the ghost soon!

Any suggestions for finding a new one, or potential alternatives, would be very gratefully received. Flowers

It's like a shower cap, but made of nylon lace (and obviously not waterproof!).

No idea but would a hairnet not do the same thing?

Omg my stupid phone - ignore the cat

You can buy bonnet patterns too

SavoyCabbage · 08/07/2019 14:09

My dd wears sleep bonnets in bed, they might do the trick. You can get them from Afro hairdressers or amazon. We’ve also got towling turbans for drying her hair without mashing up all of her curls. Also from amazon.

These are what we used at hairdressing college over rollers .

Thank you everyone, those sleep bonnets look like they might do the trick. Smile I've never heard of them.

If not we'll try the hairnets — DM mentioned that but we weren't sure whether they'd tear a bit too easily.

And pebbleo, I never mind a surprise cat. Grin
