Looking for a 'fresh', baby powder/clean linen type perfume

I really should ask someone when I smell a lovely perfume. I always wonder what it's called.... Anyway. I'm looking for a fresh, modern, hint of fresh laundry/baby powder tyoe of smell. Without actually dosing myself in those items. There is a woman's perfume i occasionally whiff. But what is it? Help me for when i next go into Boots please..

Watching with interest, my favourite smell.

Philosophy, Pure Grace. I think it's that one, anyway. One of theirs is definitely exactly as you describe.

I forgot all about Philosophy! I waa eyeing that up a while ago. Will have to check them out thank-you.

Clarins Eau Ressourcante in the blue bottle is a bit like this. More fresh laundry than baby powder but definitely a 'just jumped out of the shower and into line-dried cotton' smell.

I'm going to try that Pure Grace one now. Sounds gorgeous.

Also Socal by Hollister - it's supposed to be for teen boys but is pretty unisex and smells so clean and good. I loved it when my DC went through a phase of wearing it.

I smelt a perfume recently that was exactly like freshly ironed line dried cotton but I can’t remember what it’s called. I’ll wrack my brains.

Byredo - Ghost

It’s a brand called ‘Clean’ and it’s called Fresh Laundry. It smells amazing!

TK Maxx have the Pure Grace and Amazing Grace layering sets online for £24.99 at the moment (60ml perfume/shower gel/body lotion). It's good value as the 60ml perfume on its own is £35.

I would say Benefit Maybe Baby. But to me it's more Baby Powder than clean washing.

Juliette Has a Gun ‘Not a Perfume’ is exactly this

Not a Perfume is a beautiful smell! Most of the Juliette Has a Gun are quite strong and heady but this one is so fresh.

L'eau D'issey if it's not to aquatic for you. I think it's possibly floral enough though. On the other hand a lot of "linen/cotton" smells have an aquatic scent to them anyway.

Jo Malone Earl Grey & Cucumber is very fresh and pretty and wearable.

For old-school comfort try Paris. OK it's not linen-y and it's definitely old-school but its very cosy/powdery. For a more modern take on that kind of perfume try Chloe. That's a very "pretty" scent.

Dolce & Gabbana "The One" is powdery but not old-fashioned, and is easy to wear.

Diesel fuel for life and D&G light blue always smell clean to me. As does that DKNY one in the tall clear bottle although it's v strong

@sister6 I second Kenzo flowers. It's probably one of my favourite everyday perfumes because it just smells clean and fresh! OP it's lovely if you don't mind a slightly floral one.

Narciso Rodriguez for her (also SJP Lovely is not dissimilar)

Is a clean bright musk scent.

Place marking because all of those sound lovely and I must give them a go next time I’m at a perfume counter.

Benefit Maybe Baby

Rituals- ritual of Dao smells like freshly ironed linen.

Kenzo Flower is gorgeous, but doesn't strike me as a fresh laundry smell.
