Best dressed person you saw today - what were they wearing?

I love people watching & seeing what people wear and often pick a best dressed person of the day.

Today it was a lady in simple white shirt, denim shorts, metallic Birkenstock’s. She just looked great.

Bit more unusual but a lady perusing superdrug in a beautiful 40's /50's dress hair curled up with full make up. From head to toe she was immaculate if a different decade.

A teenage girl with long in a kind of 'half up' 80s style, red high waisted mini skirt, chunky trainers and a funky top. She stood out and looked really cool.

Long hair I meant

Me ! I stayed at home all day and was doing diy / and gardening . Was wearing paint spattered 2/3 length trousers with holes in ( not because of fashion ) colour pink, and a navy t shirt 2 sizes too big.

A flowery vest top, well fitting jeans and gold flip flops. Can't explain why, I don't think it was her clothes but how well they fitted and her confidence IYSWIM

A girl on the tube, maybe going to or from Pride. She had devore pink and coral baggy trousers on. I've never seen devore trousers before but they looked fantastic on her and the colours worked. Didn't even notice what else she was wearing.

A woman in a blue and white floral mini tea dress. She had no make up, a tan and was generally gorgeous but she just looked so lovely and effortless.

I got stopped and told my outfit was really cool, if that counts?!

I saw a very cool 'older' lady with long grey hair, wearing blue Levis, Converse and a denim jacket. Somehow she made double denim look really good.

I saw a plus sized woman aged about 35 wearing a yellow and white striped tshirt, a brown pinafore and white trainers. She was bounding down the street looking so happy and confident. I didn’t get time to say how fab she looked, I wish I had.

I had a work thing today which was outside. My work friend who normally wears black skirts and tops had a beautiful peach chiffon dress on. She looked amazing and so summery in the sunshine.

What were you wearing Remus. I always imagine you looking really cool.

I’ve been at a wedding so I have to say the bride as she looked gorgeous but also my four cousins who all looked wonderful.

Lol - I am really not cool! I wish I was.

I wore a navy dress from Monsoon with silver shoes. Very boring really but I felt nice.

Sounds lovely, Best. I'm just rediscovering navy, having hardly ever worn it since 6th form!

A real, grey, black and white fur coat whilst reclining gracefully on a paper bag on the floor.

The rest of us looked like crap - I'm in a grey leopard print nightie and a green checked shirt, DP is wandering around in his boxers and a black shortsleeved shirt and DTwatCat2 is a tortie Maine Coon who looks positively motheaten in this weather, especially as I'm picking out a thousand Goosegrass seeds from both feline's fur every five minutes at the moment.

Funnily enough Remus, it’s a default colour for me, I wear far too much navy. I’m rediscovering black.

My mum actually. Black flat pumps with black lacing around the ankles, a black and white small geometric tile pattern slim - fitting midi skirt and a khaki sleeveless top, tucked in. She is tall and very slim and she looked really lovely.

Haven't been out today but the most stylish person I saw yesterday was I woman I often spot and she always looks amazing.

I'd say she's about 70 and she dresses like a Goth with a couture budget. Goth luxe. She's got really long thick silver hair that swooshes perfectly. She had biker boots on and a black slim cut maxi skirt and I think a black velvet blazer. She looks like a rock star.

Not today but very recently (when eating out) and we all commented on her. Late 50s/early 60s?, immaculately cut shortish blonde/white hair, black fitted jersey top, white wide leg pants and white or silver flat shoes. Keep things simple. And good posture - everything looks better with good posture.

Coming out of the shop I saw a lady mid 60's wearing dark blue ankle graizer trousers, and a blue and white stripe top with 3/4 sleeves, the stripes were all uneven, (wide and narrow), and she had yellow loafers on, she looked very classy.

Not today but I saw an older woman walk past the pub I was in on Friday evening wearing an oversize fashion-y (structured) white shirt and black leggings who looked amazing. She was very slim, which helps imo.

On Friday I saw a lady walking her dog on the beach. She was about 60 with long grey hair tied loosely back into a pony tail, she was wearing tapered high waisted khaki trousers with gorgeous tan sandals, a white tee tucked in and a lovely navy jersey blazer. She looked effortlessly stylish.

My sister in law always looks really put together. Last night she was wearing navy, linen cullottes, navy and cream Breton, dull red block heel sandals and carrying a tan leather tote.

One of my colleagues today.
White t-shirt but a nice one nice thick fabric and fold up sleeves, maxi skirt with gorgeous yellow pattern, sandals.

She’s always immaculate. Inspires me as she’s around 40 and has a child (I’ve recently become a mum & worry about getting my style back so I like to see other 40-something mums looking good, not just the 20-somethings in the office)

I saw a woman in her 60s/70s, with shiny grey slightly tousled chin length bob, wearing pale blue cropped loose fitting slouchy trousers, with a blue linen t shirt half tucked, white Superga trainers. She looked relaxed and cool. It was more her attitude than her outfit
