Henley regatta - what to wear?!

Hi guys,

I'm going to Henley regatta on Saturday (not my sort of thing!!) And have no clue what to wear. I'm not a very dressy person, so am a bit worried. We're going to the "barn bar" not the main spectators bit so don't think it's as fancy pants.

Any ideas? I can't wear anything that goes above the thigh due to scarring so these sort of things give me major anxiety.

@CalmConfident it was fab thanks! I wore a summer dress with flat sandals and it felt just right. There were the super fancy dressed people, but also people more casual than me. There was a really nice atmosphere and I had a great time!

Thanks for everyone's advice re shoes ... There was a lot of walking so I'm soooo glad I didn't wear heels!
