... my 3/4 length flared-at-the-bottom jeans with knee length boots? Haven't had the wear out the jeans that I would have hoped given a. the weather and b. the fact that I splashed out in Hobbs on them, so would like to wear them in the Autumn Winter too. Jeans are mid blue and I have cowboy boots (dark tan), chocolate wedge heeled fake suede boots and tan fake suede block heeled boots.
Would any of those look ok or is this a bad idea?

I think it is a bad idea for summer! I know it isn;t exactly tropical out, but surely you can brave it and wear ballet pumps instead. I have today.

Oh I agree v bad look for summer and do wear them with pumps, flipflops and [whispers it quietly] crocs when its warm enough. But am thinking ahead for the autumn!

I see. (whispers back - I have crocs on atm too!)

I think you do need long slim legs really to carry it off really well. Cowboy boots are good though.

Ah - long slim legs..... Was worried that might be the case. Mine are short and stubby!!

the cowboy boots with the 3/4 jeans would make anyone look stubby. But the jeans with the others (as long as they are tight to the leg) would look good for autumn (though black leather shiny fitted boots also look excellent). I'd wait til September though...
