You can buy bands rather than shorts which work as well and mean you can wear your ordinary knickers. Amazon sell them as do new look. Called anti chafing bands or anti chafing shorts if you want the knickers.

I was going to say snag too. They're fab. Otherwise you could do what I did last year and cut up several pairs of old 80 denier tights.

Question - can you wear these shorts/bands as well as tights? Can't have bare legs for work etc but still get some chafing even with decent tights on
