Do I keep this bag??

I’ve had my colours done & I’m a very happy Autumn. Stuck in baggy maternity clothes at the mo so enjoying buying accessories online. I’ve fallen hard for tortoiseshell & ordered this bag (not expensive).

This is how I’d style it post-pregnancy (assuming I’m back into my size 10s 😂) - khaki jeans, cream top, tan boots. What do you think?

The bag is not really my cup of tea, but so what if you love it! Does it really matter what others think?

On the other hand I absolutely love those boots! Where are they from?

I am a pastel loving Spring, I don’t like any of those Autumn colours, but I think that is a great outfit OP. Good luck with the sizs10s!

@YesItsMeIDontCare they are Rocket Dog Boots - not a very fashionable brand but very comfy!!

@QueenofPain @HollyBollyBooBoo I thought the bag was a bit fun but completely get where you’re coming from!

Haha thanks @BikeRunSki. I just tried those jeans on & I half did up the zip - not bad for 31w! There’s hope for me yet 😂

The bag is ok (just ok) but I don't think it works with the outfit (too casual for the bag) but it may be that I just can't get past how horrible those boots are. Smarter boots would look better if you want to tie in the bag. I think the bag will date very quickly through as tortoiseshell accessories are already being heavily discounted in the sales and it's very much last season's look. So depends if you're trend-conscious or just wear what you like regardless of trends.

@HundredMilesAnHour Just shows how each person has completely different styles! I was going for a casual look (I doubt I’ll be getting much opportunity to dress up with 2DC) so I doubt I’ll wear with smarter boots. I’ve always liked tortoiseshell & it really suits me so I’ll continue wearing it. I’m just pleased it’s trendy now so I can buy some more bits.

Thank you @BlueCornsihPixie & @Redact. I’m leaning towards keeping it as it is a nice pop of colour & interest.

@Thisizit getting your colours done is asking a personal stylist to help you figure out which colours suit you best. Usually they tell you what season you are (spring etc) & a palette of colours to stick to.

I actually quite like the bag and the outfit is great.
Good luck actually using it if you’re currently pregnant though- I get the opportunity to use something other than a nappy bag (or my laptop bag for work), maybe once a month if I’m lucky!!

@Expressedways Thanks! when I’m out with DS1 I like to keep my phone/keys/purse in a crossbody bag & separate from his bits - I just find it easier. So I like to have lots of different crossbody options.

I'd want a similar texture to the bag in boots, so something shinier, rather than matt finished.

But I'd definitely keep the bag. It's small enough not to be completely in your face, is a nice shape and, out of interest, where did you get it from?

Not keen on the bag as it's too shiny for me & a bit boxy. Who did you get your colours done with? If HoC, I'd recommend the style day also. The outfit is mismatched style wise imo as the jumper is too casual for the bag.

I'm also autumn & H&M have some good bits. Are you on the lookout for anything in particular?
