Stylish dress for birthday lunch this Sunday?

My friends are taking me into town this Sunday to celebrate my recent 50th. I'd love to dress up a little and just look more stylish and "put together" than my usual random jeans and top selection. I'm pretty hopeless at buying summery things, esp dresses (comfort zone in winter is short dress, black opaques and boots).

I'm 5' 8, 10 or 12 on top with big boobs but 14 round tummy and hips. Good legs. (No idea what body shape that makes me!)

I don't suit anything that is belted or wrapped... um... Help? Can you find me something fab for my 50th?!

Jumpsuit?
You're tall enough to carry it off, and if you found the right one they can be surprisingly forgiving of round tummys.
Either super Minimalist looking black/dark one (short sleeves for summer) with simple jewellery or one with a bit of pattern and colour.
Hobbs and John Lewis had some nice ones in the sale (not sure what you're budget is) but there's loads around at the moment.

Thanks Squishy, the only jumpsuits I've ever tried on looked truly hideous on me, so I would probably prefer a dress.

What do you think of this? Shape would probably work on me.. I'm not blown away though...
