If you’ve had your colours done, were you the season you thought you would be?

I’m convinced I’m a winter and am not sure whether I’d be wasting money paying someone to tell me something I already know?

Those of you who’ve had your colours done, did it just confirm what you already knew?

No I was surprised as I assumed I'd be spring (I'm fair skinned with dark blonde hair and grey-blue eyes) but I'm actually a winter! I was very pleased though as it's all the colours/tones I like and I can wear black Grin

I’m dark haired with fair skin and grey-blue eyes.
I’m drawn towards bright jewel type colours and get compliments when I wear bright colours. I feel awfully drab in beige, browns etc

Yeah I kind of knew I’d be spring, and I am. Still worth it though because there were a bunch of ‘spring’ colours that I’d never have even tried that it turns out look great on me.

I agree with EyesOpenWide. I thought I would be summer and I was but I'm a deep summer which means its deepest colours which look best on me and I wouldn't have been drawn to them before because I thought they were too strong for me. It was worth it for me.

I had mine done many years ago and was an obvious autumn. I was born in the autumn and love all the colours of nature at that time of year and it’s great that I can also wear them :)

Happinessbegins · 24/06/2019 18:37

I could see all the colours that would suit me but found that orange and khaki don’t work at all even though I was wearing them.

frugalkitty · 24/06/2019 18:47

I was told as a child that I was an autumn so I was really shocked when I had my colours done and came out a summer! Once the shock wore off I was delighted as I was dreading being told to wear orange Grin my favourite colours have always been pink/purple/blue/aqua so actually bring a summer is perfect for me.

I was convinced I was a Winter; I’m not. I’m a Blue Spring and black, burgundy, and emerald make me look ill, though I wore black and emerald all the time.

Learning how Coral and Hyacinth made me look spectacularly younger and elegant was a bloody revelation.

You might well be a Winter, but learning all the other colours that make you shine—and how to wear them and combine them—is worth it.

I would have guessed that I was an autumn. Apparently I am an autumn however I am a blue autumn and I have found that some of the traditional autumn type colours don't look very good on me and some should even be avoided.
