Can I ask you to look at my hair?

I've NC because of the pic Confused

So my hair is pissing me off. I've tried all sorts of taming serums and nothing works. Had my hair done a couple of months back and the hairdresser used some bedhead serum (forgotten which one) it made me hair look gorgeous and didn't need washing for 5 days. Anyway I bought some and it doesn't have the same affect when I use it Envy

If I put frizz ease on it will it tame it and give me that glossy look? My hairs obviously not curly but it got a natural wave/kink to it. Straightening it just makes it greasy and needs to be washed again and I haven't got the time for that, I'm more of a wash and let it dry naturally type of girl.
Can anyone advise me on what to buy? The shops just confuse me Confused

I'm sorry I can't help but just wanted to say your hair is gorgeous!
I've heard good things about Moroccan oil but hopefully someone more knowledgeable will along soon.

Have you tried elasticizer? It makes mine lovely and glossy and swishy

Your hair is gorgeous 😍

If i were you, i’d have a look at the curly girl method as it can work amazingly for wavies too. If you start using non sulphate/silicone products you’ll probably be surprised at how wavy your hair is. If you’ve been caning the taming serums lately, they all normally have some sort of oil/silicone in them and this can build up and end up sealing moisture out of your hair instead of in it.

Or if you decide it’s not your cup of tea, i’d do something like use an apple cider vinegar rinse to remove any build up and dullness, that might get your products working a bit better again

Well I absolutely adore your hair as it is!

Mine is crap so I can't give any advice 😂

Aww thanks guys ☺️ I think I look like a scarecrow 🤦🏻‍♀️ I just want the shiny glossy bouncing hair but without putting in the work. My sisters got it but mine just looks like a dry frizzy mess lol.

Thanks @Soola I'll take a look 😁

What products does your sister use red? Maybe you could ask her and see if they work for you too?

Not in a rude way (honestly) OP but is it much less smoother without a filter? As it looks fine in the photo. If a little damaged at the ends (bit par for the course with long hair really). The snapchat filters make my hair look far better than it is.

We have very similar hair and I think frizz ease etc are ok but leave my hair a bit flat and it's easy to use too much and regret it. I get much better success using hair treatments every other day or so when I wash. My current fave is the Lee Stafford hair growth one. Stick it on the bottom third only and then I use a shiny spray after It's dried to smooth any frizz higher up and brush through.

Have heard good things about Olaplex 3 if your budget is a bit bigger .

Look at Paul Mitchell Foaming Pommade. It’s fantastic and I think it would work well on your hair.
