Whst shorts do you wear if you have a big belly?

I'm a 14 and have a big low belly. Everything I tried on today made me look like I was smuggling a rubber ring 😥

Would you consider mid length shorts? I don't think shorts really flatter anyone so try not to worry! Otherwise yes I'd agree with skirts and dresses instead

I agree, I don’t think shorts flatter many people. Could you look at cropped wide legged trousers/culottes instead?

Boden Richmond shorts are great. They hold everything in! I have a c-section overhang and they are the only shorts I will wear. I always wear a longer-line vest or t shirt with them.

I don't tend to buy shorts, any old jeans I have get cut into shorts.

Men's swim shorts. Decent length and comfy. I used to steal DHs every holiday but bought my own after I became single.

I agree to denim shorts, and short are definitely more flattering than the longer ones, also gap chino shorts, I find weating a belt helps, jersey shirts are unflattering apart from maybe plain black.

I wear Boden Richmond trousers a lot (4 different colours!), but bizarrely found the shorts fitted really differently, and not so well.
