I have various size 12 trousers. Looking for some 10s but pref not low waisted as I have a baggy belly. Oh, and my legs are short.

size 12 trousers include brown cords worn only once, black slightly stretchy elasticated waist with sequinny bits, green/khaki with decoration around the bottom and some summery cotton brownish with stripes. The last pair might be 10 actually, but they are too big for me.

aloha · 25/07/2007 21:09

I have a lovely pair of dark blue denim Boden skinny jeans in 14L, which are just too big for me (amazingly). Not massive, just a bit roomy. I never wear them and it's too late to send them back. They cost more than £40 I think.
I would give these away to someone nice for postage!

Desiderata · 25/07/2007 21:10

TooTicky .. you paint a very pretty picture

CarGirl · 25/07/2007 21:11

Thanks ladymacbeth my hips are def an 8 - I actually have hipster from gap in a US 0 & 2 so they will be too big for me

Need hipsters becuse I've got a large chunky waist (well actually no waist that's the problem)

LadyMacbeth · 25/07/2007 21:16

So do you want them CG?

LadyMacbeth · 25/07/2007 21:18

That sounded a bit abrupt and huffy - sorry! Reading between the lines it's a 'no' but just want to be sure!

moljam · 25/07/2007 21:18

im size 0-6 on top and 6 on bottom.anyone?

LadyMacbeth · 25/07/2007 21:19

Ahh bugger - you said they'd be too big! I'm not reading anything v well - I hit the gin after supper and it's gone to my head!

tortoise · 25/07/2007 21:24

aloha I think they would fit me. I have just gone down to size 14 and need long jeans!

All my jeans are too big for me but no good to giveaway! rather well worn!

FlameParakeet · 25/07/2007 21:25

Please can I have your dress LadyM?

vonsudenfed · 25/07/2007 21:25

Damn, have just sent a pile of maternity wear and nice skirts to the charity shop in preparation for moving.

But do still have a couple of things - stretchy Jigsaw jersey dress in a deep plum, can't remember if it's 12 or 14 but fits size 14, full length on me at 5'2". Would be good for first half of pregnancy.

Also, pair of v good quality short leg (see above) size 14 maternity trousers, Noppies I think. I have to say that I could never get them to stay up, but perhaps they might work better on someone else...

And there will be more, I'm sure - if anyone is that kind of shape (short, curvy, 14) I will get back to work on my clearout.

dressedupnowheretogo · 25/07/2007 21:27

Pinkchampagne · 25/07/2007 21:29

I have a black fitted French Connection dress with flower detail, in a size 10, if anyone's interested.

bossykate · 25/07/2007 21:29

ok whatever this will degenerate. totally well meant but there are tons of other mechanisms to achieve same end - with better controls visibility, searchability etc - oh yes that newfangled thing that everyone's talking about - ebay????

seriously? wonderful idea, will all end in tears.

anyone need to borrow a cocktail dress - hefty tall people especially?

Flame - i posted a message earlier. Of course you can have my dress, but i need you to CAT me... I don;t have the facility... let me know where to send it and the dress is yours...

PS the last time I had vodka in copious quantities CG, I passed out after smashing one of my friend's favourite glasses... Then I shouted at DH that I would walk home if I didn't get a lift IMMEDIATELY.

CarGirl · 25/07/2007 21:32

mmmmmmmm white wine spritzer????

expatinscotland · 25/07/2007 21:33

Good idea, cod, but I see this going the way of Ebay, Freecycle or some 'For Sale' threads on here - greedy moos making all sorts of demands on people just trying to offload so they (the recipient) can sell it on at profit.

Just give it to charity or textile recycling and be done with it.

FlameParakeet · 25/07/2007 21:33

Missed that LadyM - thank you!
