What do you wear to the races?

DP has announced off the cuff that it has been organised and we are seeing some friends we haven't seen in a long time at the Doncaster races next week.

I have never been to an event like this and I'm not sure what you should wear?
Can anyone send any links or pictures my way?

I'm 5'4" and usually a size 12 depending on where I buy from.

Don't really want to spend more than £50 probably be using my own shoes etc just need the outfit.

Help please ?

Is it a special day that they’re holding or regular racing?

Rita ora will be there (I don't think we are seeing her) it's the 29th of June so next Saturday.

Do you know what 'bit' you're going in? I can't remember all the enclosures at Doncaster, but the cheap bit is just casual, whereas the Premier stand is more dressy.

Just asked DP and he doesn't know but apparently it's "collar and tie" for men

Ah, so not jeans, basically. Kind of garden party ish? So either dress or wide trousers and pretty top I’d say. I’m not a massive dresser upper though.
