A hat , any hat

I am desparately seeking a hat for a wedding on Saturday week.

My sister has told of the lovely time she had with our niece buying their hats and I am very jealous.

I have tried Accesorze, John Lewis, M and S etc etc and cannot find a single hat tht even fits, let alone suits. The idea of having choice in the hat dept is alien to me (of the large head) and I have a very bedraggled straw thing that has been played with by Dds.

Where oh where is the one hat that will do?

The fact that the short version of my name is Hat only adds to the gloom........

Sorry I have a head that just doesn't do hats, so no advice but lol at your last sentence!

What about one of those decorative comb/clip thingies - can't remember what they're called...

A bit bushy ('Your hair's awfy thick') but can be tamed by kindly straighteneres. About shoulder length.

Don't know if i can carry off the fascinator (new term for me!) but might be brave and ask...

Thanks for your support. I know i'm not alone.

I am now looking forward to the fascinating fascintor hunt. (and it will probably be cheaper too!)

Hat now has a hat -

Who would have thought it?

Went into Accessorize (a bigger one this time) and there was a hat that fitted - And only £12. And it matched my outfit!!

Had already been to Frasers etc where all the hats were too small and £70 + . (All a bit mother of the bride-ish).

Anyway thanks for your support
