Your best second-hand bargains?

I've just bought a tweed Beulah London blazer, barely worn, on eBay for £12. I love that brand, but can't stretch to the £495 a new one would cost, so am DELIGHTED.

I want to hear what your most glorious second-hand shopping triumphs have been, please!

@Japonicaflower2 The key is to go to charity shops in well-heeled areas.

I got a max mara suit jacket for a fiver.
Total bargain.

My best finds haven't been in the most affluent neighbourhood but in a spot on a well used route into town with free parking close by which makes it handy for donors. I also go round them a lot - at least every couple of weeks. And I feel honour bound to add that I've bought a lot of shite in them too.

My local market has a pre-loved stall where the owners have good eyes and fingers. I've bought lots of my best loved items there, and sold some too, but I find the best items are fairly niche brands, so no big name stuff. Otherwise, I've bought two Lambertson Truex bags (now Tiffany Leather goods) from E Bay at £75 ish, for bags that once retailed at $2000.

@evilharpy Do you find that the Max Mara stuff is good when you receive it? I lust after their coats, but I'm never sure if the ones on eBay will have worn well if they're second hand.

@LavenderHills mine is all from charity shops I’m afraid so I’m not much help. Although the pieces I’ve got have all worn very well in my hands. The jersey blazer in particular is fab, never even seems to crease.

I always find such good bargains on Ebay. I got a dress for £2! Probably £4.00 all together with postage and packaging.

I found a Michael Kors bag at the car boot earlier today for £10 - it's genuine and leather.
