Are your (bigger!) boobs ok to ever go bra free?

I realised this morning (it’s been a dawning process of realisation!) that when I wear eg a vest top with pyjama bottoms to sleep in and then have breakfast in them the next morning before showering, then if anyone were to look, you’d see that my boobs (nipples!) are really a couple of inches lower than they should be. They are no longer perky-whether it’s just age, breastfeeding, pregnancy or gravity! It wasn’t a nice sideways sight in the mirror this morning!

Does this bother you being in a vest top with no bra in front of family? What about holidaying with more extended family/friends? If sharing a house for a holiday, would you put a bra on under your pyjamas for breakfast?!

Or does everyone else have perkier boobs than me?!

34 E here. I always wear a bra, although I wear sports bras a lot

In bed I wear breastfeeding tops from H&M as they have a bit of support. Couldn't sleep in a bra. Too pokey!

I am aware that left free, my nips not only hang pow but also point in different directions Confused

MaximusHeadroom · 14/06/2019 04:57

Obviously they don't hang pow. I have no idea what that isGrin

I'm not comfortable braless (34E) but not because of nipples. They're just heavy and I prefer stretchy bras which I wear to sleep and around the house.

I came on here to post a link to that site too.

It's brilliant isn't it?

Fascinating to see the range of shapes and sizes and really helped me understand that my breasts are perfectly normal after years of thinking they were far too saggy and that everyone else had perfectly perky breasts.

Now understand that I had simply rarely seen photos of non-sexualised breasts.

No i cant/dont/wont - they jiggle around all over place, its weird, makes me feel naked, and isnt particularly comfortable!

See I look at the gallery and think a lot of them have great Breasts - mine still don’t stack up well (pun intended) against them

Sproink · 14/06/2019 15:27

I'm a 28 FF/G. Depends on the brand and style.

I often go braless, even to work. 28G isn't that big though. About the same cup size as a 34D, I think.

foreverhanging · 14/06/2019 15:29

Mine are so manky I won't go out without one for sure. If I'm in my pyjamas with dh/dd I don't care.

Polestar50 · 14/06/2019 21:22

Whoopstherego
Mine don't stack up well either but the point to me is that hardly anyone's do!
Mine are big but look shit with my clothes off. I'd love to have smaller boobs and be able to wear a normal bra and not have to hold them whilst running across the road etc. Friends with smaller boobs say they envy me having bigger ones. They'd hate it if it came true I bet. Its all completely subjective.

WanderingTrolley1 · 14/06/2019 21:30

Can’t imagine not wearing a bra under clothing.
