Well am I glad i didn't buy new suits for this job.
My manager wears a huge polo shirt with horrible trousers and v necked jumpers.
Not me at all but I don't want to be the over dressed one in the office.
I'm thinking really nice blck bootlegged trousers - any tips gratefully received and a selection of Next type tops and maybe one suit for meetings.
It's mainly the trousers I need, must withstand washing due to babies.
Thanks in advance.

my boss wears shorts

I mostly wear fitted jeans, cords or khakis, or linen trous in summer, with plain fitted v neck 3/4 sleeve tops - even Next-type 'workwear' is way too smart.
I do wear boots or wedges rather than trainers or flipflops though.

I wouldn't bother with a suit for meetings - just wear an ironed shirt with plain trousers and add a jacket (needn't match trous) if you feel you must.

Trouser sourcing depends very much on your shape - I am a Next and Gap fan because they fit me well but it's worth going to several shops and trying on. Obv get machine washable ones.
