Anyone had IPL/laser at the salon for facial hair?

I'm desperate to get rid of my facial hair/beard. Anyone had laser at the salon for this and how many sessions did it take/cost?

I got mine through groupon and got a block six sessions was under £150. When they finished, I got another groupon for another lot of sessions. This clinic has offers to match groupon, so I have stayed with them.

The clinics do a skin test before your first session and will refund if you are found not to be suitable.

In terms of results, I have noticed a reduction in hair growth but not a complete removal. I have PCOS so I think my hormones mean I will always be hairy.

Yes, but was a complete waste of money for me. I have fine blonde hair and laser doesn't work. You need dark, thicker hair for good results.

My advice is don't go to a beauty clinic for this. In my experience the results are poor and temporary. After going down this route for years, I finally went to a laser clinic attached to my local hospital. Carried out by nurses, pricey but actually worked.
