I am not 100% loyal but my make up bag is mainly Bobbi Brown . I swapped to this when Clinique discontinued the palest foundation shades. I like a natural no-make - up look.

I guess some of the time it's laziness as you get to know your way around a brand. (I only ever buy when there is 20% discount.)

Budget brand- don't really have one but Revlon and L'Oreal might be up nr the top.

Budget - am quite fond of rimmel actually - 60 second nails, Kate Moss lipstick. Also bourgeois for foundation (works better than high end for me)

High end for me tends to be Elemis for skin/body stuff rather than make up.

WellTidy · 07/06/2019 17:07

Budget - MUA at Superdrug. Fab eye shadows.

Spendy - Estée Lauder every time.

Hedgehogblues · 07/06/2019 17:09

Most of my make up is Revolution. I can't really afford anything else and it works for me. My foundation or BB cream is always GOSH though which is a little more expensive

Spaceprincess · 07/06/2019 17:12

Budget -MUA from Superdrug
Treat -Urban Decay but love MAC lipstick

Fruityb · 07/06/2019 17:18

I’m more budget. I have UD but have been bought them all! I buy from wherever but I generally go for rimmel foundation and insta and go primer spray which I love.

I discovered Primark mascaras not long ago and they’re bloody awesome. As someone who won’t leave the house without mascara on I’m very picky but I’ve swapped from benefit to these. They’re £2.50, last all day and really smooth.

Hayls17 · 07/06/2019 17:23

Make up -
High end Clinique
Budget MUA Superdrug

Skincare -
High end Liz Earle
Budget Aldi Lacura

Snowfalling · 07/06/2019 17:36

@Fruityb which primark mascara would you recommend?

I love rimmel foundation 25hr lasting finish with serum for budget, switched from Estee lauder double wear and wouldn't go back.

I don't buy anything that expensive anymore make up wise.

Stumpedasatree · 07/06/2019 17:43

High end Mac (blush, lipstick or eyeshadow)
Low end MUA/Essence/Revolution

Skincare, not really any high end, love Superdrug own/the Ordinary/Akamuti

Fruityb · 07/06/2019 17:46

@snowfalling I did use the one in the gold tube - which I still like - but the pink tube is actually better. They’re really buildable and last all day. I’m genuinely impressed with it! I swapped from Bad Gal Bang to this. It comes off easily as well - I use coconut oil and it just melts it.

SpangledBoots · 07/06/2019 17:48

Budget - Beauty Pie
High end - Chanel

jazzyjee · 07/06/2019 17:52

Budget - Revolution
High end - Fenty

Honeybee85 · 07/06/2019 17:53

High end: Dior foundation, Dior lipstick
Low end : I love, love NYX color correcting primer (green one) as it neutralises redness and keeps my foundation on all day. The NYX eyebrow pencils are great too. Also Make up Revolution highlighters - I heard Khloe Kardashian is a fan of the one in ‘ Golden Lights’. Only shame about that ones are is that the package is so cheap and crappy I had to throw it away because it became unusable for this reason, long before the actual product was finished.

Thatsalovelycuppatea · 07/06/2019 18:06

Revolution absolutely love it!

frugalkitty · 07/06/2019 18:07

Premium make up - Clinique
Budget make up - bourgeois

Premium skin care - Elemis
Budget skincare - Nivea

Snowfalling · 07/06/2019 20:01

@Fruityb thanks. Could you post a link to the mascara? Only, I've had a Google and there seem to be quite few different mascaras in pink tubes.

Fruityb · 07/06/2019 20:09

It looks like this

HundredMilesAnHour · 07/06/2019 20:17

Premium: Marc Jacobs

Budget: Bourjois

Snowfalling · 07/06/2019 20:18

Thanks @fruityb. Will look out for that next time I'm in Primark.

Greyhound22 · 07/06/2019 20:54

Make Up:

High End: Dior.
Budget: Always use Maybelline mascara and Rimmel eyebrow pencil.

Skincare:

Spendy: Elemis
Budget: Nivea Soft is amazing

Ninkaninus · 07/06/2019 23:07

Premium Bobbi Brown (although there are some far more expensive brands I could easily love but I don’t wear enough make up to justify the price)

Budget M&S, especially Rosie for Autograph.

HoneycombAndAJackass · 07/06/2019 23:19

High end = Elemis for skincare and Nars or Charlotte Tilbury for make up

Budget = Superdrug B radiant for skincare and Revolution for make up.

lhastingsmua · 07/06/2019 23:47

I wouldn’t say MAC is a premium brand but they would definitely be my makeup go to! Every category of product would be catered to very well. Skincare would be Kiehls.

For budget I’d probably go for the ordinary for skincare, don’t really use budget makeup!

LaPampa · 08/06/2019 00:27

I like tarte makeup but not sure if it is deemed premium or not. Had to find something not tested on animals when Nars changed its outlook. Previously Nars was my go to.

Budget wise I’ve tried the Aldi foundation dupe which was ok but not fab. I’ve a number 7 mascara (freebie from somewhere) which is ok too.

Skincare wise - budget - Beauty Pie, The Ordinary.

Premium - not sure, haven’t loved anything enough to buy it twice

AtSea1979 · 08/06/2019 00:32

Budget: Garnier eye roller concealer, can’t find it anywhere must have discontinued and Maybelline foundation.

Higher end: Benefit powder and primer, l’octane immortal cream, clarins makeup.

SCST01 · 08/06/2019 00:48

Budget : Rimmel, Avon

Splurge:Clinique, Max Factor
