What to wear to newborn photo shoot?

Hi all
I gave birth to my second DS last Friday and we've decided to get some family photos taken at home this weekend.
I usually hate having photos taken but this will be our last child. After a traumatic first birth there are very few photos of me eith my first son - all of which I hate.

But what on earth do I wear?? My maternity clothes are like tents and I hate them all. I dare not even try my pre pregnancy clothes yet!

It needs to be something comfortable, probably a pale colour top. I am usually a 10 but my stomach is still quite large and my breasts are much larger too. Nothing too expensive please! I can prob manage 1 hour in town to look at H&M / Zara.

Could you wear some maternity jeans and a nice simple oversized knit top or men’s style shirt? White or light blue jeans and a neutral shade top might look nice.

Keep it simple. Maternity jeans and a simple top or shirt I would be perfect.

Think about colour too. You want everyone involved to coordinate but not match. It’s ok to take a few options for everyone (in fact it’s smart as baby may pee/poop/puke).

Try having a look at this photos to get an idea of the type of images you like. Feel free to copy an outfit if you find a theme. And feel free to show your photographer the sort of thing you like.

Your photographer should direct you/capture you at flattering angles and you can always ask for specific elements to be addressed in photoshop. Obviously they can’t make you a size 8 if you’re a 20 (for emaple) but they can smooth you a little if you feel it would help

Denim shirt? With white vest underneath if you don't like it done up.
