T shirts

The million dollar question! I'm sick of buying crap black t-shirts and vest tops. I've tried M&S countless times (and they always end up being rubbish), H&M, John Lewis, Gap. None of them are any good.

Cos t-shirts are good but the necks are too high.

Why can I get decent plain, short sleeved t-shirts or vests, with a slightly scooped neckline? I won't shop in Primark, want it to be a real shop not online, and I don't care how much they cost if they are good!

Please help. Grin

Asos ones are too high in the neck - I need a slight scoop, not a crew.

Not what I was looking for but I really like this at & Other Stories.

Thanks. If I can't find anything in the shops I'll give Boden a go.

Last year I bought a couple of linen t shirts from white stuff and they've been great. Not keen on the patterns this year but Boden have some that look ok so might try them this summer.

White Stuff don't tend to do black though - will have a look, in case they've toned the colour spectrum down!

Also got a surprisingly ok for £5 one from Tesco.

Rapanui t-shirts are very good quality and organic too

@eeela

Seconded!! Except I'd also like them to be cotton!!
I'm sorry for my late response, but I totally get you, classic solid white and black T-shirts are always a pain. Either the model is terrible, or the size is huge, or the fabric is translucent. Disgusting. Stores like h&m, mango, even Zara, do not always provide the right quality. I don't say anything about online stores, here you generally buy a pig in a poke. One summer I was looking for a pure white T-shirt and was disappointed. But I remembered about the sites that make printing on T-shirts, I thought that there might be good clothes. AND I FOUND THEM!!! On matonash.com. I asked, they can just sell T-shirts, without printing. I hope you like it.

I like the look of these ribbed scoop neck tops from Mint Velvet www.mintvelvet.co.uk/product/Black-Scoop-Neck-Rib-T-Shirt/33733

Oops, old thread!

White Stuff tshirts are nice.

I'd try Colourful Standard.

Jigsaw do both 100% cotton ones and cotton/modal mix ones. Here are the cotton ones, good quality in my experience:

Although need to be careful when washing, need to wash at 30 and line dry or they will shrink.

Angbunnyboo · 01/06/2021 17:18

White Company

Fruit of the loom are really good quality, loads of places sell them.

Try Rapuni a friend recommended them to me and they are great and environmentally friendly.
They do t shirt bundles as well.
