She's 9, noticed today she's starting to get tiny white spots on her forehead and top of her nose. She also suffers from eczema, so will need something for sensitive skin.

Green People and Elizabeth's Daughter are brands worth looking at.

My pre teen ds uses a tea tree foam face wash from asda. It is working without any irritation.

Amie products are made for young skin, but I think it's only Waitrose that stock them them other than their website. It's what I started my DD on a while back. However, my youngest DS has just turned 11 and is getting a spotty/blackheady nose and I've got him wiping his t-zone over before bed with a nip and fab pad from their teenage skin range (bought in Superdrug). It's working really well, as he currently only showers every second or third day because of his eczema (daily showering makes things worse).

My dd2 is the same age and has got very spotty over that past 6 months. She is a right soap dodger unless pinned down so we've had lots of talks about this as she dislikes the spots and have tried a few things.

At the moment we're on ultrabland from lush. It is working better than some of the other face washes we've tried and doesn't make her face feel tight.

Soap and water, plain water or Liz Earle, if you must.
