Same item in multiple colours?

Is this acceptable or a bit frivolous?
I have these very comfy (and IMO fabulous) pointy flats in yellow and green.
I’ve worn the yellow so deffo keeping them but I really really really want to keep the green too.
I may have also just ordered them in purple too....
Not sure whether I can get away with keeping all three.

What’s your position on getting the same item in different colours?

I've got a pair of pumps in 3 different colours and a pair of sandals in brown and black.

Also once I find stuff that fits I get in in different colours; T-shirt's, jeans, dresses, cardigans

It’s a good thing. I have quite a few clothing items that are same but in different colours, same for footwear.

I also have at least 3 pairs of shoes where I have exact duplicates (same colour) of the same pair. One pair I should have bought more of as I’ve worn both out.

I only do this with basics eg plain t shirts, knit wear
Shoes on the other hand - am madly trying to talk myself out of the greeny blue ones you’ve now alerted me to..............

Oh those are lovely! I often buy things that I love in different colours.

I would definitely get them in different colours. I did this a couple of years ago with some ankle boots. I bought them in navy and they were so comfortable I went back and bought them in black and khaki as well.
