Have never been successful sandal shopping. They pinch or rub..Can anyone recommend a make that I could try. Not a flipflop but a comfy sandal?

I love my saltwater sandals but as others have said there's no padding on the soles at all. The leather is soft and comfy though with no rubbing, they very much feel like you're walking barefoot.
Padders are very comfortable with well padded soles but are not as nice looking. It depends on what you need.

I second the Karrimor walking sandals. I have these
Really comfy and can walk for miles in them.

Another vote for Saltwaters. So so comfortable. I also love my Birkies (Yara and Gizeh).
