If you use Clinique Cityblock, where do you use it in your routine?

What do you apply under and/or over it? I bought some recently as I wanted to up my SPF game so bought the SPF40. Usually I would use eyecream, serum, then moisturiser, then if I'm wearing make-up I'd use a primer first. I can't decide which step the cityblock should replace, or if I should be using it as an extra layer but 5 layers seems ridiculous! Where do you use it in your routine?

I front use it anymore but when I did, I found it moisturising enough and so dropped my moisturiser step.

*don’t use it

Use it as your primer as it will help to settle your makeup. If you are having a makeup free day the city block will be the last product you apply x

I used it for decades but found the spf40 far too dark under make up. I've now switched to an Estee Lauder all mineral spf45 (small grey bottle for £35-ish) and love it.

With Clinique I'd apply over moisturiser and under foundation. it's marketed as a primer as well as a sun block.

Thanks for all the replies! I think I might try as EntirelyAnonymised suggested and drop the moisturiser. I've tried skipping the primer and it doesn't seem to be a good enough base for my foundation, maybe because it's quite greasy and I use Bare Minerals powder foundation.

I use it instead of foundation. Sometimes instead of moisturiser if I’m short on time - but if I have time then cleanse tone serum etc then moisturiser, leave 30 mins or so then city block.

Just bear in mind that cityblock does not moisturise your skin so see how your skin gets on without being moisturised x

I just use it instead of foundation. I love it in the summer.
