What to wear underneath a black tie formal suit. DD18

My DD has her leaver’s ball at the end of the month. You guys have been brilliant over the year helping me navigate social occasions where her usual boots, jeans and check shirt don’t quite work!
We have a beautiful sequinned suit (see photo of jacket) which she looks lovely in and, most importantly, feels comfortable and confident in. However, we can’t work out what to wear underneath. A shirt seems to much. I was thinking a little, very brightly coloured silky top. Whatever it is it needs to make the most of her natural assets - a fabulous cleavage!
I’m crap at shopping (and live in boots and jeans myself!) and we live in the middle of nowhere so trips to large shopping centres are a no go.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of where I could buy something suitable on line? Or I’m really up for other suggestion of what to wear underneath. Many thanks!

Tinny and Susannah I am not but I think that jacket is so stylish in itself, I wouldn't want to detract from it. So I'd wear a simple black cami. I think someone was recommending some from Wallis a couple of days ago.

How about a corset style top?

New Look always have simple cami tops that would look lovely. You don't want something too over the top as the jacket speaks for itself.

Black, white or nude. A bright colour will just cheapen the look.

TokenGinger, I think she would like the cami top as well. If she needed to take the jacket off, the outfit would still look stylish! And we do have a new look within a reasonable distance!
The matching trousers only have sequins in a wide strip down the outside leg.

Thanks guys for the advice. I have been online and ordered a “selection” of silky cami tops. Some black some not. Hoping one will be perfect.
It is a beautiful jacket and I’m hoping she’ll get more than one wear out of the suit! She’s a very cheap teen to run generally so I didn’t mind splashing out to find the right outfit.

Hereiam19, the jacket is part of a suit with black trousers with a strip of sequins down the outside of each leg. A bit like military trousers but black sequins.
I like your suggestion of a white t-shirt but I always find then a bit thin and see through. Can you recommend any retailers that have quality T-shirt’s that might suit?

Is she confident to wear a sheer t-shirt or a body? That would look cool with the trousers & a bit younger than a cami.
