How much are crocs? I bought DD a pair of lovely, fitted, leather sandals for £16. OK not waterproof, blah-de-blah but I have also orderd her £3.50 pumps in next sale that can be thrown in washer.

Her feet have grown - 'tis reason for extravagance.

Oh yes DD will definitely wreck her leather sandals if she wears them for the wrong activity - they are white. But she has wellies for the garden.

pucca · 21/07/2007 20:23

love the title pmsl

snowleopard · 21/07/2007 20:26

wtf are jibits?

Saw crocs on an old man the other day... not good...

LadyTophamSortingHatt · 21/07/2007 20:26

As much as I wouldn't be seen dead with a pair even within 100 paces of my feet I do like the little ones for teeny feet.

Ds3 would LOVE a pair....but as he's often closer than 100 paces he can't have any!

LadyTophamSortingHatt · 21/07/2007 20:28

Thats a very long winded way of saying, On adult they are rank but FAB on kids.

dd (3.0) has a cheapo copy pair in shocking pink and looks fabbo in them. Perfect for this weather imo.

Budababe · 23/07/2007 11:40

I do like them on children. Esp boys for some reason. Don't think DS would wear them but may look out for some for him for in and out of the garden.

Good holiday LGJ? Where did you go? [nosey emoticon]

We had 3 weeks at home broken up by 5 days in Dingle. Twas nice but ..... cold and wet!

WaynettaSlob · 23/07/2007 11:42

I was in Cork last week and saw someone wearing crocs that made me think "yes, that's who should be wearing crocs".......it was a fisherman!!! (and he was wearing them with socks!!!)

Porpoise · 23/07/2007 11:46

I have BAD news for fellow croc-haters...
They are all the rage in Italy, too.
Deeply weird seeing elegant, slightly over-blinged women with plastic feet!

BreeVanDerCampLGJ · 23/07/2007 11:51

BudaBabe

We went to Nerja for a week and stayed Here We felt shortchanged when the temperature dropped into the high 80's.

I have a theory about crocs, "The Emperors New Clothes". Otherwise why would normally sane adults choose to wear these horrific looking rubber clogs??

Ditto what others have said, crocs are ok (if you have to) for kiddies but on adults, nooooo, they are so wrong!!! Leave them to dentists and hospital workers. I have an abiding image of Davina Mcall in Heat magazine wearing some whilst heavily pg with some cropped trousers and I vowed then, on that day whilst very newly pregnant myself, never to let myself go toward the end of my pregnancy- there are so many more stylish, practical alternatives for comfy feet (flip flops, ballet pumps, stilettos ).

Budababe · 23/07/2007 12:26

Looks nice LGJ! Envious of temps. Has been 100 here since we got back! TOO hot!
