Hairstyles for fine long hair with fringe

Hi, can anyone think of a good hairstyle I could get my hairdresser to do for my son's christening please? It would need to stay in for 6 hours and I'd like some framing around the face. My hair is straight and just hangs - I wondered if curls would be any good? Sorry, I haven't a clue with hairstyles - I usually just stick it in a ponytail. It is very fine and limp. Also, it is likely to be pretty windy weather. TIA!

You could ask her to curl it then put it in a low bun with one of those donut things...will make it look thicker and curls will give the hair some texture
