Ok, so I helped to produce a feature film which has its premiere next month - it's a very low-budget movie, so there's no red carpet, but there'll be photographs, probably some minor celebrities, and some industry professionals who I will have to meet and greet.
And because I'm 5'0", am a size 18, and have children and lots of other responsibilities, I usually look like the person I am - a middle aged, overweight, stressed working mother. I do try to look after myself a bit - I've been on a VLCD for a while and lost a stone, cut out caffeine, gone veggie, drinking lots of water, use serum/day cream/eye cream/hair serum/babyliss big hair or straighteners.
So this premiere is not really a big deal, but I just don't want to look like I know NOTHING about fashion. So the photos are what I've bought to wear - do you think it's going to work?
And if so, do you think I should wear silver or bronze make-up/nails or go 'traditional Hollywood'? I saw a photo of myself taken yesterday where I'd put on quite a lot of make-up but my features still kind of disappeared and I looked very non-descript, so I think I need a bit of 'zhuzhing'.
