Do any of you still wear scarves? Apart from winter ones that is. I was just looking at accessories on esprits website and there were lots of scarves but I can’t remember the last time I wore one or noticed anyone out and about wearing them. Are they completely out at the moment?

I have a shedload of different styles and fabrics and never leave the house without one in winter (I feel the cold) and I wear them as part of my own personal (non) style at other times.

I aim vaguely aware that scarves are not in art the moment. I still wear them. I pretend I'm European!

UCOinanOCG · 25/05/2019 08:37

I wear scarves all year round. I like light cotton ones for the summer. I am a no fashion icon though!

MooMinCow · 25/05/2019 08:41

TK Maxx is your friend here.... always have a good selection. Failing that Primark sometimes have some or charity shops!

HermioneWeasley · 25/05/2019 08:46

Love them and wear them lots.

Longdistance · 25/05/2019 08:52

I like my snood scarfs. I double them up. I have about 10 in different patterns and colours. I wear them in my office as where I’m sat directly by a door it’s drafty. Looks very chic.

Bluesheep8 · 25/05/2019 11:56

I love and wear them lots. Whatever the season.

FiremanKing · 25/05/2019 12:37

I’ve ordered this

www.theoutnet.com/en-gb/shop/product/scarves_cod272216333634801.html

I like a scarf even when it’s very hot as it keeps the sun off my neck if I’m just generally walking around.

I don’t sweat so scarves work for me all year round.

StCharlotte · 25/05/2019 13:30

LolaSmiles

Amazon has loads!

I wear them. I have loads but I generally only wear a couple of favourites and have gone off some of them now. But I always take a couple on holiday as they double up as a sarong, emergency towel, pillow, sun cover up, take the chill off a cooler evening etc etc etc...

SpeckledyHen · 25/05/2019 13:38

I wear scarves all the time - have dozens in their own storage unit!

THAT LV dupe scarf was discussed and ridiculed at great length on The Purse Forum several years ago .

MaybeDoctor · 25/05/2019 13:42

I am considering taking up silk scarves worn hairband style. A little bit 60s.

ChangesAt30 · 25/05/2019 13:43

I LOVE scarves!

I'm all about the Katie Loxton ones now Smile

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 25/05/2019 13:45

I do but then I have a giraffe neck and feel the chill!

BestIsWest · 25/05/2019 13:49

I wear them a lot. Also have a long neck and v short hair.

My favourites at the moment are a map one and a flowery one that I have from 100 stars and a green silk one from M&S.

NeverTwerkNaked · 25/05/2019 20:07

This thread has resulted in me buying a new scarf Blush

Robinthecaveman · 25/05/2019 20:14

NeverTwerkNaked I feel responsible for your unscheduled purchase.

Seriously nice scarf @FiremanKing. I wear scarves too, all year round, quite often essential at work because of the air conditioning. During summer it's usually warmer outside.

Voice0fReason · 25/05/2019 22:02

I can't believe how much money some people spend on scarves!
I don't think I've ever paid more than a tenner for one.

Writersblock2 · 25/05/2019 22:26

I love scarves. Alexander McQueen scarves are my weakness. I mostly wear black but add colour with scarves.

managedmis · 26/05/2019 01:39

Gotta say I have a scarf very similar to the Louis Vitton one mentioned above and it does indeed go with everything.

Shitonthebloodything · 26/05/2019 06:28

I have tonnes of scarves in different weights, colours and patterns. I buy cheap and cheerful ones from Primark and m&s. I don't they go out if fashion tbh.
