I've ordered this but not sure if it's dressy enough

I think that's lovely! Does it suit your shape?

Kaz2200 · 16/05/2019 12:47

I'll find out when it arrives, any ideas for accessories?

The jumpsuit arrived and is lovely but not sure it's dressy enough, has a tone any other suggestions.

the JD Williams group always have beautiful dresses. Try looking for Joanna Hope. Her stuff is lovely and quite wedding-y without being OTT.
Bear in mind, if you choose a jumpsuit you need to undress to go to the loo - not easy when you're squiffy...

Kaz2200 · 22/05/2019 19:17

Doesn't have to be a jumpsuit I am not mother of bride, but will be on the top table.

How about this one?

Kaz2200 · 22/05/2019 19:44

That's really nice but not sure it will go with the theme of pale grey or pale pink for the photos.

Loving those pencil dresses, just need to find one in the right colour. Who sells the best quality ones?

I think it looks really lovely and you will look dressed up if you add a bit of silver jewellery and heels.

Have a look at the Bombshell dresses (bombshellhq - google it). They have lovely pencil shaped ones that might be just what you're after. There's a thread about going to a wedding in Paris where the OP ended up getting a bombshell dress and feeling great.

Have a look at Lindy Bop silver screen range. They are stunning and not the usual 50s style, I have a long grey beaded maxi dress and a knee length cape style beaded dress from there.

Why do brides have to control what their guests are wearing to this degree? It baffles me and if I’m
Honest I’d be pissed off to be told what colour I had to wear.
It often forces people to buy something new and or wear something they wouldn’t normally.
So controlling

LittleCandle · 24/05/2019 07:31

If a bride told me what colour I had to wear, I would turn up in any other colour, but not that one. Photos be damned!
