Best night serum / treatment for plumping, fine lines, enlarged pores etc?

So I’ve been really focusing on cleansers and peels to try and improve my giant sizes pores, congestion across cheeks and horrid bunching of the skin in that area when I move my face.

I’ve definitely cracked the peel part, maybe too much (the area just above my cheekbones is bright red and a little burnt, not good!) and I think I need something really hydrating and plumping to put on over night that won’t clog my pores or make me too greasy. Definitely don’t need anything peeling / with AHA or BHA as I will have no skin left!

Estée Lauder ANR is a classic but it just does great stuff to your skin. Currently I add Sunday Riley Luna oil over the top & im seeing great results. Both are privy though, what's your budget?

I’ve got the best pores I’ve had in my life using The Ordinary Niacinamide and Zinc. It’s only a fiver as well!

Thanks all.

It’s funny you say about ANR as I forgot I had tiny sample bottle of Estée Lauder ANR serum in a drawer with a bit left in it until I was rummaging last night. When I used it pre kids it did nothing for me but my skin was very different then.

As soon as I put it on last night my skin felt and looked better. I actually reapplied when I woke in the night. It does seem to have helped to I’m going to try more. Can’t afford a big bottle this month as I’ve bought tons of beauty stuff and clothes (very unusual for me but very overdue!). Found that LookFantastic have a set with a tiny bottle plus some other night time skin care so I’m going to get that and buy the ones I like full size next month :)

Hasn’t made any difference to the deep smile lines around my eyes, but I think the area just above my cheekbones being literally burnt has caused some swelling which hasn’t helped. Whoops.

GardenWoes I have been using TO niacinamide for a few months, morning and night (just ran out and got another) along with salicylic acid at night. It has definitely made my skin more even and I no longer get proper spots and very few blackheads, but it hasn’t made a difference to my pore size or the congestion on my cheeks and chin. They’re not really spots, just blocked pores and skin that looks a bit thicker in that area - only have a few actual bumps.

I love The Ordinary products - it’s their AHA and BHA peel that has given me selective sunburn (and I only used it for half the time - they say avoid the eye area but what they mean is avoid the cheekbones up!) but it seems very very effective for the price, more so than any other peel I’ve used but you do need to be careful. Estée Lauder resurface peel was my favourite, don’t think they make it now. It was effective without ever causing any burning.

I’ve also got the 0.5% retinol and the moisturising factors with HA which is really nice. They are definitely the staples of my skin care ATM, but I feel like I need a really intensive night treatment to try and get my skin sorted.

Has anyone tried the Alpha H beauty sleep or their intensive night repair serum? It’s so much money to spend if you don’t know whether it will work for you!

Will stick with EL for now - now I think of it I’ve always been really impressed with their stuff but it’s been so long since I used it I’d forgotten!

Now just moisturising the crap out of my face hoping these burns improve without going nasty!
