Longer leg boys shorts?

I can’t get shorts to fit DS who is nearly 11. Any suggestions? They are either too short or if I go up a size massive. He’s very tall and slim.

few suggestions:

these, i think they are meant to come to the knee so would come higher up on him but would still look ok, has adjustable waist

Cut off a pair of trousers to the required length & use iron on tape to hem if you're not good with a sewing machine.

and just come across these, which again come down to the knee on the model so will be shorter on x
