Anyone embracing their natural grey hair and powering through the awkward stage at the moment?

Or fancy cheer leading those having already done it?

At the moment I have about half an inch of natural colour having bleached and toned my previously dark dyed hair to a grey to help blend it.

So far so good but I am struggling with adapting my clothing colours as grey things make my hair look dingy. Any tips most welcomed....

Me! And struggling with being told letting the grey grow in is letting myself go Confused
My hair is short and I'm planning to go shorter next cut to get rid of the colour faster.
Have you come across 'grombre' on instagram? Very inspiring!

Also starting to look at my wardrobe to add colour, like you Smile

I did it by accident - I grew my hair long because I couldn't be faffed getting to a hairdressers, and at the same time didn't dye it. I looked a wreck - but tied it up in a plait. The other day I got it cut to a bob and that got rid of all the colour.

For clothes I am a neutrals person - warm blue greys, chocolate browns, autumnal greens or warm blues normally, but I am going into black and dark navy too. The yellow grey and cold greys have always made me look ill and washed out so I haven't seen much of a change on that front.

Me. Am 48 and grey is really starting to show now. Hair is chestnutty and not dyed as I cba keeping up with roots.
I'm quite enjoying watching it change and am hoping it will eventually make me look wise.
Just wish the eye bags and extra chin would bugger off.

Do it! I did it a few years back and am so glad not to be tied to the roots/regrowth/colour treadmill. Have so many more compliments on the salt and pepper than I ever did on the grey. Suits my skin tone more.

Clothing has changed a bit - more cooler colours (blues, light turquiose, cool reds, cerise) and less warm colours.

I've got almost 12 months of regrowth through now. I love the color it is. I had a few highlights put in to break up the old color that was there and it matches really well.
