These are out of stock, but I must have sandals like these, i.e. closed toe, not showing heel, really chunky high heel + platform. Will consider other colours!

i had a black pair of these. so comfy. a few years back but bought them from office.

toucantoo · 11/05/2019 06:43

Just google the brand. Lots of places sell them. Urban outfitters have some similar in black. Look on the brands own site.

AnotheChinHair · 11/05/2019 06:56

Thank you bebe but the one on the left shows my toes and my heel which I want to avoid. The one on the right is much too chunky, even for me.

Oh I love them! Please post a link if you track them down.

bebeboeuf · 11/05/2019 08:00

The ones you posted the picture of are called Vagabond Dioon Fisherman and was their 20017 or 2018 model.

The ones one the right of the picture I posted are called the same thing but they have changed the style.

It might be worth trying eBay

Gatekeeper · 11/05/2019 15:47

some here but not many sizes left

OP -those sandals are great!

Closed toes, chunky sole, hefty heel. Mmmmmm.....

Perfect for work.

fancynancyclancy · 11/05/2019 16:42

They remind me of jelly shoes

AnotheChinHair · 11/05/2019 18:40

They're perfection aren't they youllhavehadyourtea?

Ive just been on a wee internet trawl for closed toe sandals, similar to those youve posted - it's something I do every spring - looking for the right sandals, no toes, but with a bit of chunky sass about them.

I love my old ancient ( had them 20 years now) DM fisherman sandals, chunky sole, I live in them - but they show toes, and I don't like them for work.

Most closed toe sandals are all too dainty/boring/officey just dull.

youllhavehadyourtea · 11/05/2019 20:34

sorry bidding has ended on the item I linked to

here is a picture. They are called Clarks Balmer Spring.

not current Clarks stock - only on ebay it seems.

Have you looked at Lotta or Swedish Hasbeens?

AnotheChinHair · 12/05/2019 08:59

CountFosco those are pretty shoes but I don't get on with wooden heels.

jessohln · 13/05/2019 07:32

Can't do with the heels myself. I love love love these shoes by Docksta. They're also a Swedish clog brand, but super comfortable and with a nice solid heel. www.dockstasko.com

@AnotheChinHair

did you not fancy the patent leather ones I linked to?

youllhavehadyourtea · 13/05/2019 12:48

Gatekeeper _ I'm not the OP , but I liked the shoes you linked to - exccept they are patent!

Gawd we're a fussy lot.

EarlyIntheMorning · 13/05/2019 22:17

Hi Gatekeeper. The patent thing is off putting, and the black against my super white legs I just don't know... Thank you though!!

AnotheChinHair · 14/05/2019 08:28

gatekeeper so sorry I haven't replied. I do like the shoes you have linked to, but as PP have said, I also feel that the patent makes them quite awkward. Would you wear them with bare legs? My legs are also exceedingly white. I guess they could go with culottes... Hmmmm, maybe maybe....
